PVC insulated wire and cable is applicable for the permanent connection of electric equipment and device of rated voltage 450/750V and below.
   PVC insulated flexible wire and cable is applicable for the domestic appliances, small size electric tools, instruments and meters and power illumination as connecting flexible wire of PVC insulation and copper core of rated voltage 450/750V and below.

Product expression method
  1. The product is expressed in model, specification and standard number. The specification includes rated voltage, core number and conductor cross section and so on.
  2. If it is necessary, the color of the cable should be indicated in the end of the specification.
    For example: General purpose sheathless cable of single core hard conductor, used for permanent wiring, with rated voltage 450/750V, one core 4mm2 and color blue is expressed as “227IEC01(BV)450/750V   1*4  blue   GB5023.3-1997”. 
        General purpose sheathless cable of single core flexible conductor, with rated AC voltage 450/750V, one core 2.5mm2 and color red is expressed as “227IEC02（RV） 450/750V   1*2.5  red  GB5023.3-1997”.

 Main performance parameter of finished cable

 Delivery length
·The length of a whole roll of cable is 100m and the length of a whole plate roll should be more than 100m.
·The delivery of short cable no less than 20m is allowable, but the total length of short cable delivered should be no more than 10% of the length of total cable delivered. The delivered short cables of every 2 packages should be no more than 5.
·According to the agreement between both parties, cable delivery of all lengths is allowed.
·The measurement tolerance of length should be no more than ±0.5%.

 Finished cable delivery mark
The finished cable should be marked with printing ink characters or pressed convex characters on the insulation or sheath indicating the manufacturer, product model, specification and rated voltage.
The marks should be of continuity, and the interval between the end of the previous mark and the head of the next mark on the insulated wire should be no more than 200mm, and that of the sheath should be no more than 500mm. The characters should be well marked and wearable.
