        Fire resistant
        The Ml cable is made of inorganic malerials(copper and magnesium oxide).il will neither cause fire nor to burn or support combustion.it can keep normal operating even in fire close to melting point of copper because melting point of copper is 1083'C and that of magnesium oxide is 2800'C ,and it can pass c. w. z. test of BS6387.So, it is a fire resistant cable in real sense

    • Real Fire Test Carried out by Sichuan Fire Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security
      During one-hour real fire test, the refractory performance of cables is applicable to surface cables. Mineral-insulated cables are better than cables of other varieties, then speak of refractory cables with protection of fireproof bridge frame, and normal power supply capacity to electric equipments can be maintained. In the fire hazard, surface mineral-insulated cables can also bear impact of dropping of heavy test objects, can endure impact of sprinkling water and can normally connect to power and start relevant power supply equipments again, therefore, they can maintain fire power in specified time under the conditions of a fire hazard.

         High Current Rating
        According to IEC60702,The Ml cable can work continuously under the temperature of 105oC as the actual operating temperature of Ml cable can be up to 250oC .which also takes terminal sealing material and safety into consideration. Even thoughjts current rating is far beyond that of other cables because magnesium oxide powder has better heat conductivity than plastic has rapid heat transmission and radiation.therefore it has higher current rating at the same temperature .As for cross section above 16mm2, you can lower one section and you can lower two sections in areas human contact is forbidden.

         Water Proof
        Because continuous and seamless copper tube is adopted as sheath in Ml cable and sealing mud used at the terminal is one high-tech product which can be immersed in water for long time,water is kept out completely therefore.lt is virtually water proof.

         Explosion Proof
        The Ml cable is made up of seamless copper shealh,magnesium oxide powder compacted a tightly solid,so it can prevent the steam.gas and blaze into the electrical equipment connected with the cable.So it has the quality of explosion proof.

         High Corrosion Resistance
        The copper sheath of Ml cables has the self-character of high corrosion resistance.Only in any area where would corrode the copper.it must be covered with a PVC outer sheath to prevent the corrosion

         Resistance to Mechanical Impact
        Because conductor and metal sheath of the cable have good strength and toughnessrand magnesium oxide is highly compacted during Conductor, sheath and insulation constitutes a dense integral.The relative position between cores and between core and sheath keeps constant when suffering bend ing, wavering,torsion etc.So there is no short-circuit and electric property can not be influenced.

         Small curve radius, small space required for laying
        The mineral-insulated cable is of a compact body, with a minimum curve radius less than or equivalent to 6D (D being the diameter of the cable) Therefore, the installation of the cable is rather easy and doesnit take much space, making it an ideal substitute for busways to be laid in places where small space is required

         No Toxicity and Halogen-free
        The MI cable is made of inorganic material(copper and magnesium oxide powder) So it will not emit fume,halogen and toxic gas even during combustion at the temperature of 1000=C It is virtually no toxicity and halogen-free cable

         High Overload
    Because copper melting point is 1083C and magnesium oxide melting point is2800 C ,current rating of MI cable can be enhanced one section level comparing with general plastic cable with more overload qs overload capacity can reach over 10 times of normal current ratings

         Long Service Life
        Because MI cable is made up of inorganic material without ageing,we can compute its life span according to oxide,etch velocity of copper tube. It is reported that 0.25mm sheath will take 257years to oxide etch under the condition of 250oC,Also,the thickness of MI cable sheath is 0.34-1.05mm and operating temperature is under 250oC,so MI cable has the quality of long service life.

         Copper Sheath as a Ground Wire
        The MI cable is a good ground wire,for continuity and extremely low grounding resistance,and one ground wire can be saved
